Visiting Yachtsmen
The Casino docks and wharf are for members only. Please arrange for docking space at the public dock or a mooring if you are visiting any of the restaurants or the Golf Club. For drop-off and pick-up please use the Thorofare-facing eastern dock.
Visiting Yachts under 30ft and members of other yacht clubs may tie up on the western sailing and dinghy dock for short periods (30 minutes) depending on if space, the wind and weather permit. Sailing classes will always have priority!
The Casino does not have moorings to rent or launch service. Please use the public dock beside the ferry landing, or call J.O. Brown’s (207-867-4621) or Thayer’s Y-Knot (207-867-4701) for a rental mooring. There is no dock manager, but please find a sailing instructor or Casino member if you have questions.
Please read all signage and observe these policies. Finally, be aware of the shallow depths alongside at low water.
Visitor Docking Details:
There is no overnight docking permitted, and no services are available.
Please NEVER block the marked area for people with disabilities on the western dock!
The floats are not designed for berthing larger power or sail cruising vessels but rather for outboards and light craft.
Please do not tie up if there is a fresh southwest breeze or other windy conditions. You may dinghy in and tie up.
If sailing classes are in session please keep clear of that section of the float, and park compactly and tail off your dinghy.
There may be times during the season or time of day when usage is light and longer docking times are feasible. All the above policies apply.
If the weather is in doubt, please anchor out and dinghy to the docks.
