North Haven Casino By Laws (1912)
Our History
The original purposes of the North Haven Casino, as stated in its certificate of organization filed with the State of Maine in 1912, were:
"to encourage yachting, athletic sports and social meetings and to maintain a place for social meetings for its members, including the holding and maintenance of a Club House and grounds, a wharf, bathing pool, tennis courts and other real or personal estate, in the Towns of North Haven and Vinal Haven in the County of Knox and State of Maine."
The primary purposes of the Casino now are to provide and maintain facilities for boating, sailing and tennis and to provide educational opportunities for the same for its members and the community.
